Mark Patterson (Business founder) Story:
"I have been a plant operator for more than 20 years, operating all forms of plant machinery and attachments from 360 and 180 excavators tracked and wheeled to dozers, graders, and tractors. I pride myself on having full knowledge of all equipment no matter how odd. Over the years I have been privileged to work on some very complicated and high-profile projects and also to work alongside manufacturers such as JCB, assisting in the development of future machines and equipment.
About 5 years ago as a family, we decided to use our knowledge and experience in the construction industry to start our training company which has grown from strength to strength, We then started the plant and tool hire sister company to help us supply affordable plant training. By providing our own plant we could then pass the savings on to our clients."
Giving back to the community
MP Plant Group takes part in charity events throughout the year. We enjoy giving back to the community and are so grateful we are able to support so many great charities.
We take part in tractor runs to raise money for numerous charities even winning best decorated for some!
We carry out MacMillan Coffee​ Mornings,
raising over £500 for Macmillan cancer
support and later in the year raising £700
for Cancer research.

Supporting St Oswald Hospice is one of our proudest moments, not only have we had the opportunity to help with their fundraisers using our machines and staff to support them but we have also helped with numerous jobs when setting up their new charity shops and advertising their fundraisers.
